Plot
Gwen Author is a fairly ordinary therapist practicing in Seattle. Ordinary except for her talent for feeling other’s emotions - something that can be useful but it more often a bother.
One day a pair of fae - monsters Gwen remembers well from a childhood encounter - ask for her help in finding some missing children. Gwen isn’t really the heroine type and she is sure they have the wrong woman, but she isn’t really given a choice. The children in question all have special gifts like Gwen, but that is the only clue she has. With the help of her best friend/assistant Chloe and a werewolf PI, they struggle to figure who - or what is behind the disappearances.
